Our very own Dinklebray is back with another tournament – the Triad Tyranny Tournament! This go-around registration filled before we could get an announcement post out, which bodes extremely well for this tournament (thanks for the enthusiasm!).
Format:
- 3v3 format
- Minimum of 4 members, maximum of 6
- Amendments can be made until November 16th, 223:59 Eve Time
- Compositions must contain one frigate, one destroyer, and one cruise
- Cannot repeat hulls in consecutive matches (ie: match 1 and 2 must contain six different hulls, match 3 permits reuse of the match 1 hulls, etc)
- Frigates: T1, Navy, Pirate, and T2 Logi hulls permitted. Triglavian ships are banned
- Destroyers: T1, Navy, Pirate, and Command Destroyers Permitted. Triglavian ships are banned. Tholos permitted
- Cruisers: T1, Navy, and Pirate hulls permitted. Triglavian ships, Stormbringer, and Gila are banned
- Up to T2 modules permitted (polarized included)
- Ewar must use meta modules and only permitted on bonused hulls
- Only T1 rigs permitted
- No drugs or implants
- T2 and Navy ammo permitted (not Pirate ammo)
- T1 and Navy drones permitted. T2, mutated, integrated, augmented, and Logi drones are banned
- All Ewar drones permitted
- Remote reps and cap transfer only permitted on bonused frigate hulls. Only one cap transfer permitted, must be meta mod
- Only one local rep of each type permitted
- Cloaks and Micro Jump Field Generator are banned
- Deployables are banned
- 6min rounds
- Arena radius of 125km from center beacon
- 0km, 10km, and 20km choice of warpins
- Most points killed wins (frigate = 30, destroyer = 70, cruiser = 100)
- Semi-finals best 2 out of 3
- Finals best 3 out of 5. Finals will be 4v4 with the fourth ship being the Gnosis (fit can be changed after each match). Consecutive ship rule still applies to all ships (excluding Gnosis)
Rewards:
- 1st place – 4800 PLEX
- 2nd place – 2880 PLEX
- 3rd place – 1920 PLEX
