Dinklebray’s Frigate Fiasco Tournament

December 21

Our very own Dinklebray is hosting a frigate tournament this holida-

Incoming transmission from the local pub:

Tournament announcement!

I shall be posting the rules on a separate announcement following this one; this is just a brief overview of the tourney first as well as a couple surprises… so, let’s get on!

On the 21st of December the Frigate Fiasco Tourney will be a 32-man 2v2 frigate event with a twist – you will not be choosing your teammate, fate will! This will be drawn at random and streamed live for full transparency.

Oh, and speaking of streaming… I am extremely excited to announce that our good friend and streamer extraordinaire Loru has kindly agreed to stream our tournament live on his channels! If you have not already done so, I strongly urge you to check him out (Twitch | YouTube). He has a ton of fantastic content; with the best, of course, being our last tournament.

Regarding signup: it couldn’t be easier. In the upcoming weeks I will confirm signup is open on our Discord server. The first 32 to react to the announcement will be registered! Please do not sign up at that time if there is a chance you will not be able to attend – give somebody else a chance.

Prizes will be announced in due course, but I can assure you it will be worth taking part in the tournament.

Lastly, something I have been working on for some time and am most proud of… last year we were fortunate enough to have CCP Zelus attend. He is a huge supporter of player-run tournaments like ours and I can now proudly announce that this year’s Frigate Fiasco tournament will be fought on THE THUNDERDOME! More information on what this means and how to gain access to it for participants shall be announced in due course, but believe me – this is a huge deal!

So that’s it, ladies and laddies; the tournament is winging its way towards us. I hope you are as excited as I am!

Rules can be viewed here.
